Oh it is a tradition in the Schick family for sure. Tom and Carol were the first and I believe everyone after that has also had to share a plate; well usually it's a platter. We may have forgotten that tradition for Traever and Andrea, but we can always have you do that now. Can you fit two chicken sandwiches on a plate and share? Aunt Sandy
The reason we look cute together is because Heidi's excessive cuteness makes up for my lack thereof. So we end up looking cute together regardless of my anti-cuteness factor. :-) Plus we're in love...that always adds like 10 points to the cute factor.
I asked Grandma Schick how that tradition began. She thinks it was when we had a dinner when Tom & Carol were engaged and we were short one plate. So... Just have the engaged couple eat off of a platter! It solved the problem and all the china was matching! Aren't the Schicks ingenious? Aunt Sandy

Ok, I've never heard of that tradition either...we never did it for Jessica or Nate. I think it must've been a dream Aunt Mary had.
