I think I can, I think I can....
I thought I could, but I chickened out. Every time I tried to go over a jump, I'd freak, and go around it. Oh well. Who knows what would have happened if I'd have done it- I might not be typing this post right now. Skiing was a blast! We sang in the car and on the ski lift, talked, drove around in Iowa before getting back to IL (No, I didn't get lost. I followed the directions perfectly, they just took us a very odd way to Galena. I kept asking if we were in IL or IA cause I was never sure.), and just had general fun.
Today was my first day of nursing school orientation- another thing I wasn't sure if I could do, but after today, I'm pretty sure I can. I don't think it'll be as bad as I imagine it to be. Knowing what I'm doing, where I'm going, my classes, meeting the teachers and my fellow students was really reassuring, as was my nursing mentor, who informed me about a bunch of stuff, including the fact that first semester is not the most awful time of your life like everyone says. I almost hugged her when she said that. :D
I decided to do this post in green and blue since those are Methodist College of Nursing colors. :-)
