What did you say?
If I thought my weeks were boring, my weekends provide no more excitement.
Saturday, Amanda and I went to Kate’s to just hang out and be together. It was so great to see Amanda for the first time since Microbiology ended. We were bums; just sat around and ate pizza and talked. A random conversation (if you can even call it conversation) that we all cracked up at:
“I have an ingrown hair on my neck.”
“I have a pimple on my eyebrow.”
“I’m palpating my veins.”
I actually studied on Saturday night, as well as last night. Yep, we’re talking about 5 ½ hours of studying!
Sunday afternoon we headed over to Gridley for Mark and Laura’s wedding. And no, Katie, I didn’t laugh. Ok, well, maybe a little. After church we went to the Gridley cemetery and tried to figure out who we were related to and how. It ended being pretty entertaining.
My uncle: “Oh, here’s were Great Aunt _______’s grave is. I talked to her in church today.”
Yeah, that kind of caught me off guard for a second. I think a better choice of words would have been “here’s Great Aunt _____’s headstone.”
And that was about as great as my weekend got. Now it’s Monday. I have a stats test that I’m trying not to shoot myself over, my brother is sick, and I’m babysitting once again. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Kids have way to much energy in the mornings.
