Things I've learned
This week, I have learned a few new things that I never knew before.
1. Life is like a novel with end torn out.
2. Anything is funny if you stay up to late studying. Who knew that thinking fungi was classified by color could cause people to laugh so hard they cried?
3. It only takes 10 seconds to sweep up 30 feet of fishing line.
4. Bugs move fast. If you're going to sweep them up, you'd better hurry.
5. Baby bunnies are very cute. We have 5 of them
6. The more you stay home by yourself, the less fun it gets.
7. Starbuck's knew what they were doing when they built next to ICC's North campus
8. I have lots of mold spores in my room. That's where I chose to grow my mold for microbiology. My petri dish is gross!
9. It does no good to take naps every day. You're still tired when you wake up.
10. A.C.'s Are the only people who can plan a party while the parents are gone, and the parents will be totally okay with it.
11. The amount of people who have never rollerbladed or who don't like rollerblading is huge! Whats up with these people?
12. My 9 year old brother knows how to grill. I don't even know that!
13.The stains used in lab (such as crystal purple, methalyne blue, ect.) don't just stain microscope slides.
14. Watching lab videos may be boring, but the narrator with a British accent is pretty entertaining.

Actually...number 10 needs clarification. "AC members are the only people who can plan a party..." 'Cause I definitely know some AC parents who definitely wouldn't want their kids having a party while they're gone.
Crystal purple sounds like a drug.
How'd you learn #1?
Ok, AC members can throw parties with their parents being ok with it. And I read number 1 in the Reader's Digest. I thought it was neat, except the more I think about it, everything always turns out perfect in novels, so maybe life isn't just like one.
I hope the test part of your novel turns out ok.

I'm sorry I don't like to rollerblade!! Really I am! But where would I rollerblade? Our patio? Or the tar and chip road? See, I just don't understand why I should drive 15 minutes to kill myself rollerblading in morton. :D
p.s. it's crystal violet, and methylene blue....they're both pH indicators as well as being great dyes...fyi...so yeah...
Haha! I kinda like crystal purple though. And I got the right idea for the blue, just the wrong spelling.
How'd you learn #3??? By sweeping the basement?
P.S. how come there's a big blank spot on the bottom of it?
I did learn #3 while sweeping the basement. You can learn alot when you have to sweep the entire thing!
And I don't know why there is a blank.
